The Blue Rose Foundation and Girl Scouts of Western New York presented the first Disabilities
Awareness Patch and the first Citizenship Counts Patch to Gerda Weissmann Klein—survivor, humanitarian, author of The
Blue Rose book and founder of Citizenship Counts and 2011 Medal of Freedom recipient— on April 27 at the Buffalo Club.
