SPRING NEWS!

The Blue Rose Foundation and Girl Scouts of Western New York presented the first Disabilities Awareness Patch and the first Citizenship Counts Patch to Gerda Weissmann Klein—survivor, humanitarian, author of The Blue Rose book and founder of Citizenship Counts and 2011 Medal of Freedom recipient— on April 27 at the Buffalo Club.  Both patches are available to girl scout troops everywhere.  Interested?  Contact The Blue Rose Foundation or Girl Scouts of WNY.

 

"Western New York Tonight"  LCTV featured an interview by  Dr. Tamler  of The Blue Rose Foundation board, Errol Daniels, photographer for The Blue Rose book, Kelsie Skinner, model for the photos and actress in The Blue Rose play and others. It was recorded on March 9.  Huge success!  Expect a followup program with the cast from The Blue Rose play


The story of The Blue Rose Foundation and its current activities was presented at the Jewish Community Center in Amherst, NY on March 31.
